On Monday 16 March the UK Government advised against all non-essential travel and social contact and Girlguiding took the decision to suspend UK Girlguiding unit meetings with immediate effect.
ALL residentials – UK and international, day trips and camps are considered non-essential social gatherings and MUST also be cancelled with immediate effect.
At Shirdley Hill Residential Centre we are following the UK Government and Girlguiding advice and have now closed the centre until 30th April when the situation will be reviewed on a monthly rolling basis.
Bookings from 30th April will be reviewed on a monthly basis and we will continue to follow Government advice.
Our booking secretary will be in touch with those who have bookings to make alternative future arrangements.
